ANTIQUE VENICE BOAT AND MUSIC BOX

This is a fascinating antique piece; a boat combine with a music box in the center, made of pure pewter automated by turning the knob on the bottom. The music can play while the hinged lid is close or open, it plays the sweet melody of the century while the boat automatically rotate slowly at a three hundred and sixth degree angle, rocking back and forth to the rhythm. The boat was made from the finest craftsmanship around the Mid Century in the Italian city of Venice. It measures 17 inches long, 3 inches wide and 3.5 inches high, weighing 3.2 lb and is marked with the phase: "Ricordo Di Venezia" meaning remembering Venice
